There is a BABY!

Hi friends!

So I have been hesitant to post too much about how excited I am to be expecting. I have been terrified that when I go to the doctor and they tell me there is nothing actually there.

Well I can worry no longer!!! Eric and I visited the doctor and got an ultrasound today to see when I will be due! And there is for sure a BABYin there!! Such a relief and it was SO amazing to see the little heart beating!

As I thought, I am not as far along as decided by my last menstrual cycle because I was irregular. I am in my 7th week and I am due August 23! :)

Here is a little picture of our gummy bear! I cannot wait to meet him or her! So amazing!

2013 Already?!


Hey Friends!
 
I cannot believe that it is already 2013! 2012 flew by so quickly, and I'm sure this year will as well! Before we know it, we will have a precious little baby to take care of! As we celebrated the New Year, Eric was most excited to be able to say "I will be a dad this year!!!" I cannot wait for that moment when we welcome the baby into this world!
 
I have been asked many times already if we want a boy or girl. My immediate responce is A GIRL!! We have lots of boys in the family already, I grew up with brothers, mostly boy cousins my age, mostly boy neighbors, and now only nephews. So yes, we need a girl in the family!! BUT, I would be just as happy to have a boy! Afterall boys are more attached to their momma then girls are! We shall see though, we still have a long time to go until we find out!

So as you all know, I gave up facebook for the year (or maybe more), but now my time is consumed with pinterest and baby websites reading and learning and online window shopping! oh boy! This is dangerous! :) haha! I have got to get into a routine of exercising ASAP! Bring on those New Years resolutions!



My New years Resolutions
 
Start an exercise routine and stick to it! (classic I know)
 
Write in my blog at least 3 times a week
 
Read my bible daily
 
Go to bed earlier and wake up earlier
 
Stay off of facebook!
 
Eat healthier, less processed foods
 
Drink more fluids (those who know me, know I barely drink anything and I am trying my best to change that because its the best for the baby!
 
Build up the healthy friendships and let go of some that aren't so good
 
 
 
 
 
I'm sure I will add to my list, but this is a good start! :)
